Three Lines Menu
Symbol
The "☰" symbol is known as the Trigram for Heaven or a Hamburger Menu. In UI design, it can be used as a lightweight solution to indicate a navigation menu or a draggable element in Forms and Figma Login Pages.
Fun fact: the symbol originates from Chinese trigrams. It was first designed by Norm Cox in 1981 for the Xerox Star system, making it the first computer UI icon.
