Plus
The symbol "+" is known as the Plus Sign, and is one of the most universally recognized symbols worldwide, originating from mathematics. Plust represents positive values and can indicate actions such as combination, creating new content, or initiating a process. The plus sign commonly replaces the "Add" or "New" labels in any form of document. In UI design, the plus sign can indicate "Add", "Start", or "New" actions, in components such as Accordion, Forms, and Figma Login Pages.
History: The plus sign first appeared in mathematics in the 15th century, in a book by German mathematician Johannes Widmann, Mercantile Arithmetic.
