What's new in Frames X v2.2

Hey There! 👋 We are happy to share Frames X — version 2.2. This release brings new dynamic components and quality life improvements to the creative process in eCommerce and finance categories in Figma.

Improvements to the progress component

We’re introducing a new segmented progress bar. Additionally, we've reworked component properties, making them easier to modify with exposed nested instances. You can see the new component in action here.

New stats components

Rolling out a new Stats component with 24 fully responsive variants to help build and highlight essential achievements of your project. We've also updated the site builder component, so now you can combine Stats with other web blocks to create a store or marketing page in seconds. See how you can use the site builder to achieve this:

New checkout components

We've expanded our eCommerce toolkit with 15 new checkout components. Checkouts are easy to customize using variable modes. New components support multiple types of products and can serve as your starting point to create a cart or checkout flow experience.

New credit card component

We've added a credit card component to enrich your site or financial dashboard designs with physical front and back card mockups. Additionally, we've updated payment icons with more size variants.

Updated table cells

We have reworked table cells, removing unused properties and adding states to better display different actions that a user can perform on tabular data.

Variables + Layout grids

To test the new feature, we've updated layout grids in Figma to support variables. Now, when viewing grids, you can notice that modular and column grids will adapt accordingly to the spacing mode applied. If you're a grid person, this feature can help you achieve more precision in your design, as spacing variables are now at the core of any gap or margin in layout grids.
