The "₪" symbol, known as the New Sheqel Sign, represents the official currency of Israel (ILS). Introduced in 1985 with the New Israeli Shekel. In UI design, the symbol can replace "ILS" text labels or "New Shekel" icons when displaying Israeli currency values in Figma Pricing Plans.
