The "₠" symbol, known as the Euro-Currency Sign, was originally proposed to represent the European Currency Unit (ECU) before the official euro (€) was introduced. In UI design, it can replace spelled-out "Euro" or "Currency" icons in finance, banking, or Figma Pricing Interfaces.
